The Snowy Day is a multi award-winning holiday special based on the beloved 1962 children’s book by Ezra Jack Keats. The story follows Peter as he goes on a magical, snowy walk to his Nana's house to bring home her famous mac and cheese for Christmas Eve dinner. Watch it on Amazon Prime here.
We worked closely with the Grammy award-winning R&B trio Boyz II Men to create an original song that built throughout the special, adding a-cappella layers each time it appeared and ending in an orchestra-backed sweeping finale. We also had the pleasure of working with talented composer Kris Bowers as he created an original score that captured and enhanced the subtle beauty of the animation.
